Two arrested in Harrison County on felony charges of fentanyl death

HARRISON COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)- Two individuals were arrested in Harrison County on felony charges of fentanyl death.

The charges stemmed from a drug overdose investigated by the Harrison County Narcotics Task Force. The investigation led to the arrest of 28-year-old Cameron Coffman and 31-year-old Christopher Bunch.

On June 7, 2025, Harrison County Narcotics Task Force investigators responded to Saucier-Lizana Road in Saucier to investigate a fentanyl related overdose of a 35-year-old male.

During the investigation, the victim was found in possession of fentanyl and paraphernalia used in the inhalation of the substance.

Investigators identified the source of the fentanyl as Coffman and Bunch. The investigation revealed that both subjects knowingly distributed the drug and were aware of the dangers.

Coffman and Bunch were arrested and transported to the Harrison County Jail and are both being held in lieu of a $500,000 bond each.

The investigation is ongoing and more arrests are anticipated.
