Two arrested for strong arm robbery in Gulfport

GULFPORT, Miss. (WXXV)- A husband and wife have been arrested and charged with strong-arm robbery in Gulfport.

On July 11, the Gulfport Police Department responded to 19th Street in reference to a possible domestic assault.

During the course of the investigation, officers determined that Justin Easterling confronted the victim at the door of her home and took her purse. Easterling removed a handgun from the purse and fled the scene.
