Two arrested for counterfeiting

Two Texas residents are behind bars in Pass Christian for using counterfeit money.
Chiquita McCollum and Shantaysia Brown were arrested during a traffic stop after a complaint from a local business they paid with counterfeit bills. It turns out the vehicle they were driving was reported stolen out of Texas. Officers recovered items from the car consistent with counterfeiting and identity theft.
The two are being held on $300,000 bonds.
