Tunnel to Towers Foundation pays off Deputy Malone’s mortgage
In the days after George County Deputy Jeremy Malone was killed in the line of duty, the community reached out to help his family.
A GoFundMe page was established to help his wife and three daughters with expenses. First Responders all over the Coast reached out to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, asking for help for the family.
Today, the foundation announced it will pay off the mortgage on the Malone home. Hillary Malone and her daughters will be able to stay in the home the family had just purchased.
Frank Siller, chairman and CEO of the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, says they were able to pay off mortgages for more than 200 fallen officers in 2023.
The foundation is funded by the Tunnel to Towers runs each year as well as donations. Go to t2t.org to make a donation. Siller said, “In this case, though, we have a run in Biloxi, a Tunnel to Towers run, every year in Biloxi. There are many people who participate in that run that contacted me immediately when they found out about Deputy Jeremy Malone.”
A reminder that services for Deputy Malone will be Thursday for visitation and Friday for the service in George County.
