Tulane’s MS Coast Campus to Host Heart Walk on April 11th

Tulane’s School of Continuing Studies MS Coast Campus today announced that it will hold its annual Heart Walk to benefit the American Heart Association on Saturday, April 11th. The Heart Walk will start at 9:45 a.m.

Participants will meet in front of the Tulane MS Coast Campus at 9:30 a.m., where they will proceed to make two laps around the inside of the Edgewater Mall. There is a $5 registration fee. Each registered walker will receive a t-shirt and lunch along with a goody bag including water and snacks.

Interested walkers are encouraged to pre-register at the Campus. Although participants may register on the morning of the Heart Walk, only those who are pre-registered are guaranteed a t-shirt. Following the Heart Walk, the Tulane MS Coast Campus will hold a Silent Auction. Proceeds from the Heart Walk and auction will go directly to the American Heart Association whose staffers will be at the Heart Walk to provide information on heart disease.
