TSA training exercise at Gulfport Biloxi International Airport

A head’s up for those of you who live or work near Gulfport Biloxi International Airport, TSA agents and local law enforcement agencies are holding a training exercise today.

The annual improvised explosive device training started this morning at the airport. As part of the exercise, local authorities are responding to the airport as if it is a real call to ensure a more realistic scenario.

You may see some heightened activity around the airport this morning as a result, but airport officials want to stress that it is just a drill and that there is no danger to the public or aircraft.
