Trunk or Treat at the Harrison County Fairgrounds

A massive crowd showed up for Harrison County’s first ever trunk or treat at the Harrison County fairgrounds.
Miniature monsters and part-time princesses were lined up for as far as the eye can see anticipating free candy, hayrides, a movie and the big screen, and, for the especially brave, a haunted house.
Kids could collect candy in a fun and safe atmosphere which is something that Harrison County has been looking to provide for residents.
Angel Middleton with the Harrison County Board of Supervisors tells News 25 the response for year one of this event has been overwhelming. “Well it’s kind of like the fair. We really had no idea because I know a lot of people have Halloween traditions and they like to stick with what they know. It was just a guess as to how many people would come, but we’re blown away by the response. It’s amazing, amazing. A lot of people here.”
Middleton adds that just like the fair, this event will get bigger and better as the word gets out.
