Trinity Episcopal Church in Pass Christian preparing for 30th pumpkin patch

The annual pumpkin patch at Trinity Episcopal Church in Pass Christian is opening soon.

The church has been doing the patch since 1992 and this year, they will celebrate 30 years. All proceeds will benefit multiple organizations the church helps with.

This past weekend, volunteers of all ages lined up patiently after multiple delays to help unload over 2,000 pumpkins of all different sizes and colors. Volunteer Jeanne Tagge said, “We have people that were here as children that are now bringing their children to the pumpkin patch. So, it’s become a family tradition in many cases. People are here from various schools and scout groups and other community organizations. So, it’s very heartwarming to see all the support.”

The patch will be open every day starting in October from 10 a.m. until dark. The patch is located at 125 Church Avenue in Pass Christian.
