Trial set for Burning Death Case in Panola County

A trial date has been set for the man accused of burning a Mississippi teenager to death back in 2014.
Twenty-eight year-old Quinton Tellis will stand trial on June 19th.
He’s charged with capital murder accused of setting 19-year-old Jessica Chambers on fire in December of 2014 in Courtland.
Panola County’s district attorney says he is confident in the case.
Tellis was indicted on capital murder charges by a special grand jury back in February of this year while he was in a Louisiana jail being held on charges connected to the stabbing death of another woman.
