Tree limb takes out power line in Gulfport

Several people across the Coast reported power outages as the bad weather passed through our area.
More than 1,000 homes were without power at about 1 p.m. today. Here’s a look at some of the damage near Oak Place and Kelly Avenue where a tree limb took out a power line, leaving some in the area without power for a short time.
It took crews several hours to clean up the mess and restore power.
