Tree Falls on Vehicle

A woman and her grandchild escaped serious injury after a tree fell on their vehicle. They were travelling in north Harrison County.
The woman and her four-year-old grandchild were heading west on Landon Road when a huge tree branch crashed on top of their vehicle. AMR, the Harrison County Fire Service and Harrison County Sheriff’s Department all arrived on scene.
The woman and child suffered only minor injuries.
Traffic was redirected as emergency workers used chainsaws to cut up the tree and clear the roadway.
