Train hits vehicle sending two to the hospital in Long Beach

Two people are injured after a train and pick-up truck collide in Long Beach yesterday.
Long Beach police tell News 25 the pick-up truck was crossing the tracks on Island View Avenue when the train hit. According to authorities, two people were in the vehicle that got struck and were sent to the hospital with minor injuries.
The collision happened at West Railroad Street around 1 p.m. CSX Transportation officials were able to get the train moving again after the truck was towed away.
Long Beach police are still investigating the accident.
