Traffic switch on HWY 57 due to road widening project

JACKSON COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)- A traffic advisory for drivers in Jackson County. Due to the road widening project on Highway 57, there will be a traffic switch.

This switch begins January 24 at 7 a.m. in areas between I-10 and just north of Humphrey Road on Highway 57.

The northbound traffic will be placed on the newly constructed southbound side in a head-to-head configuration for about four miles while crews work on the northbound lanes.

Please use extra caution when driving and no wide loads will be permitted during this time.
