Traffic fatality in Gulfport

A traffic fatality occurred around 7 p.m. in Gulfport.
According to Gulfport police, units responded to Airport and Highway 49 for a single vehicle crash. A pickup left the roadway and into a ditch.
The adult male driver was transported to Garden Park Medical Center where he later succumbed to his injuries.
