TRAFFIC ALERT: Wide-load vehicle causing delays on I-10 East in Jackson County

Jackson County, Miss. (WXXV)- A wide load vehicle on I-10 headed east in Jackson County is causing delays. The area affected is Exit 75 before Franklin Creek Road.

Mississippi Highway Patrol’s Landon Orozco confirming the wide-load vehicle couldn’t fit under an overpass, having to back up on the interstate.

Law enforcement is on scene right now, drivers are being detoured to Exit 69. Drivers will be directed to Highway 63 where they can get to Highway 90.

Mississippi Highway Patrol sharing the delay is expected to take about an hour and will update the public when traffic is back to normal.
