TRAFFIC ALERT: Traffic delays due to CSX Cargo Transport in Gulfport

GULFPORT, Miss. — March 6, 2024 – The City of Gulfport advises of traffic delays from 5 to 6 p.m. today due to a large CSX cargo transport operation, city officials announced Thursday.

Delays will occur across the coast as the cargo operation requires adjustments in containers and direction. Motorists should expect intermittent stops to allow for vehicle passage and are advised to plan alternative routes.
