TRAFFIC ALERT: Gulfport PD working train versus 18-wheeler accident

Gulfport Police are currently working an accident where a train hit an unoccupied 18-wheeler at 33rd Avenue.

No one was injured in the accident. The roads are blocked from 31st Avenue to Camp Avenue is blocked.

The truck that was struck was packed with bananas, spilling the fruit on to the street which caused the back up.

Please avoid the area and use an alternate route.
