Tractor-trailer overturns on I-59 near Lumberton

A tractor-trailer overturned Friday morning on the shoulder of the southbound lanes of I-59 near the Lumberton exit.

There was a fire on the truck as well. MHP is advising the outside southbound lane will be closed several hours while the trailer is unloaded and then hauled away.

The truck was hauling chicken.

Motorists should use caution in the area and expect delays.
