Tourism on the Gulf Coast is thriving
Tourism is thriving on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
The Gulf Coast Business Council met this morning to hear an update on tourism developments in South Mississippi.
From casinos to eco-tours and fishing tournaments, tourists have an array of entertainment options.
According to Coastal Mississippi CEO Judy Young, the number of tourists visiting the Coast is over 14 million annually. She says the number of visitors is encouraging. “We have great visitation numbers being reported as well as being forecasted. Which is as important as the other and most travelers are making plans and decisions on their expenditures and deciding that travel is what they want to do because travel is a great education.”
