Top Finishers and Round Up of Fourth Annual Mississippi Gulf Coast Marathon

Here’s a round-up of some highlights from this year’s Mississippi Gulf Coast Marathon:

Russell Simkins won the male division of the marathon, clocking in at 2:43:35.

Jessica Jones took the top spot for the female division of the marathon, coming in at 3:13:45.

Derek Bovard won the male division of the half-marathon, with a time of 1:19:21.

Jessica Cowart won the top spot for females in the half-marathon, with 1:35:39.

Five-hundred-fifty-six people finished the marathon, and 1,444 people finished the half-marathon. This was the fourth year for the Mississippi Gulf Coast Marathon.
