Tickets available for purchase for Night of Hope Gala

Want the opportunity to poke fun at Governor Phil Bryant? The Salvation Army has an event for you.
The Night of Hope Gala offers an opportunity for select volunteers to roast the governor, but also support the Salvation Army. Dozens of city leaders will also present progress updates in their community in the past few years.
The Salvation Army wanted to honor Governor Bryant for all his involvement in building the Center of Hope. The building will be a 200 bed facility to temporarily house homeless individuals and families. Salvation Army Board of Advisors Secretary Victoria Williams said, “It’s giving them, it’s ultimately their home away from home. Obviously we want our homes to look nice we want them to have a home to look nice, temporarily until they get back on their feet.”
A platinum table costs $5,000, gold is $2,000 and an individual plate comes in at $150. The Night of Hope Gala will be held on August 17th at 6 p.m. at the IP Casino. You can email Sharon.barlow@uss.salvationarmy.org to reserve your seating.
