Strong storms moved through the area tonight, with plenty of lightning, heavy rains, and gusting winds. The storms did keep temperatures low throughout the evening, but there was plenty of high temperatures this afternoon with the high near 94. We can expect a few degrees of cooling as the cold front moves into the area, but not much more than that. Night time temperature will bottom out near 77. Light rain showers will continue through the evening and into the early AM hours Friday. Expect drier conditions and clearer skies for the weekend.
