Three suspects in North Carolina ATM theft arrested in Harrison County

The Harrison County Sheriff’s Office made multiple arrests Monday in connection to a major ATM theft out of North Carolina.

Sheriff Matt Haley said 23-year-old Alecia Bailey of Texas, 24-year-old Braxton Hayes of Arizona and 34-year-old Christopher Walker-Aycock of Texas, have been charged with conspiracy, grand larceny and safe cracking.

Sheriff’s deputies, with the help of Border Patrol, made a traffic stop Monday on a vehicle allegedly connected to an ATM theft in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Haley said $30,000 in cash was recovered during the stop, leading to the arrests.

The three are being held at the Harrison County jail and are awaiting extradition back to North Carolina.
