Three students injured in morning bus accident

Three students were injured when a Harrison County school bus went into a ditch on Coleman Road on Monday morning.

All three had minor injuries.

Sheriff Matt Haley said another bus was coming in the opposite direction and the bus moved over to keep from hitting mirrors and went too far over, sliding into the ditch.

The incident happened just after 7 a.m.

Another 18 students stayed on the bus.
