Three men charged after Biloxi home invasion

Three men are in custody after a 9-1-1 call alerting authorities of a home invasion on Halloween night in Biloxi.
William Dodson and James Bullock are charged with home invasion burglary and Richard Covey Jr. faces accessory after the fact charges.
Around 9:45 p.m. officers found an elderly female victim on Irish Hill Drive with an injury to her head and said two people wearing masks forced into the apartment and demanded money. One of the suspects struck the victim in the head with the butt of a handgun and then fled the apartment on foot after taking the victim’s purse.
Officers located Dodson who was found to be in possession of items directly linking him to the burglary. Covey was found in an apartment on Iberville Drive and Bullock was found on Division Street.
All three are held under bonds totaling $250,000.
