Three Jackson County suspects arrested in D’Iberville shooting

Three men from Jackson County have been arrested in D’Iberville and charged in connection with a shooting as a result of a narcotics investigation.
D’Iberville Chief Shannon Nobles said 21-year-old Trevor Barron, 23-year-old Cori Davis and 22-year-old Tamoko Johnson, all from the Pascagoula and Moss Point area, have been charged with aggravated assault and shooting into a motor vehicle. They were taken to the Harrison County jail and bond was set at $250,000 for each charge.
Police said that on Tuesday about 9 p.m., Harrison County’s narcotics unit had a silver Honda Accord under surveillance occupied by the suspects.
The surveillance began in Biloxi and proceeded into D’Iberville. As the vehicle approached Rodriguez Street and Gorenflo Road, one of the suspects fired a handgun, striking the windshield of the investigator’s vehicle and hitting the driver, who suffered a non-life threatening wound to the face and head.
The Honda was stopped shortly after by a D’Iberville K-9 unit and the suspects were taken into custody.
The investigation is ongoing in conjunction with Harrison County Sheriff’s Department.
