Three D’Iberville Lady Warriors sign with Southwest Soccer

A trio of D’Iberville Lady Warriors put pen to paper today as they take their soccer skills to the next level.

Alyssa Robinson, Kelsey Powell, and Breanna Bardwell all signed to play for Southwest Mississippi Community College’s soccer program in front of family and fellow teammates.

The three will once again join forces and look forward to teaming up at the college level while improving each area of the game that they all love. Robinson said, “Being able to bond with some of the teammates up there already from going up there previously, I really just like the energy.”

Bardwell said, “I think that it’s going to help me with different skills that I just couldn’t do in high school.”

Powell said, “It means a lot to me to know that this many people are supporting me and going to support me on my next chapter in life.”

The Southwest women’s soccer team finished with a 0-13-1 record in 2019.
