Two arrests have been made in connection to a shooting that happened on Monday.

On Monday about 2:19 a.m., Gulfport Police responded to the 16000 block of Kenwood Drive about a shooting. They found 16-year-old Zaelyn Braxton dead in the doorway from apparent gunshot wounds.

Investigators learned Eckford and Braxton got into an argument over $10 for a vape pen. Eckford fired several times, hitting Braxton, then fled.

Detectives were able to identify the Holloway as the driver of the vehicle that Eckford used to flee the scene. Police said Holloway drove Eckford to where Braxton was, waited until he heard gunshots, then picked up Eckford and left.
