Three arrested in Harrison County on felony drug trafficking charge
Harrison County Sheriff Matt Haley announced the arrest of three individuals on felony drug trafficking charges on Sunday.
The arrest was made following a traffic stop and search warrant.
During the stop and search, investigators recovered approximately 88 pounds of marijuana alongside multiple firearms.
Terence Benard Benjamin, Isiah James Smith, and Marvin Bryan Brumfield each received a felony charge of trafficking a controlled substance.
Initial contact was made during a traffic stop of a Dodge Charger on Shriners Boulevard on Friday, March 14th.
A small amount of marijuana was found prompting a vehicle search, leading to a discovery of handgun and approximately 70 pounds of marijuana.
A later search was done to a residence in the 2000 block of Trailwood Drive in Biloxi where 18 additional pounds of marijuana was discovered alongside three rifles.
Benjamin, Smith, and Brumfield were transported to the Harrison County Jail and are being held on a $250,000.
