Third person charged in helping murder suspect escape from Singing River Hospital

A third person is charged with helping murder suspect Aceon Hopkins escape from Singing River Hospital in Pascagoula on Friday, November 26.

Investigators arrested 24-year-old Kadejshah Cummings of Pascagoula Wednesday morning. She is charged with felony conspiracy to commit a crime, with a $10,000 bond.

22-year-old Breanna Cunningham and 27-year old Keesler Holloway are also charged as accomplices. They were both arrested Tuesday, November 30.

Hopkins was in the hospital after being shot two weeks ago in the City of Moss Point. The shooting is being investigated by Moss Point Police. Hopkins escaped from the hospital after telling a deputy he had to use the restroom.

The sheriff says 20-year-old Hopkins turned himself in to a family friend in Neshoba County early Tuesday morning.

Deputies brought Hopkins back to Pascagoula Tuesday night. He is charged with felony escape, with a $500,000 bond.

The investigation is ongoing.
