Third annual Guardian Angel Gala

Over 60 medical professionals were recognized as guardian angels this evening.
The Guardian Angel Gala honors doctors, nurses, staff members, or volunteers who made a difference during the care of a patient at Memorial Hospital. Recipients received an honorary angel wing pin during a ceremony at the Beau Rivage.
All proceeds from the event go toward the Memorial Hospital Foundation’s neonatal intensive care unit fund. Memorial Hospital Foundation President Dave Estorge said, “We’re expecting to raise a lot of money for the Coast’s only neonatal intensive care unit. What we’re going to do with the money tonight is, we’re going to take it and we’re going to purchase equipment, life-saving equipment for the NICU and we’re excited about that.”
From toys for pediatric patients to the latest in advanced technology, the foundation aims to bring comfort and healing to the Gulf Coast community.
