Third annual Fourth of July Jubilee in Long Beach

LONG BEACH, Miss. (WXXV)- Fourth of July may still be a few days away, but one coastal city went all out this weekend in celebrating the red, white, and blue.

We’re talking about the City of Long Beach’s 4th of July Jubilee.

This annual festival is hosted the weekend before the official holiday each year in Downtown Long Beach and this year did not disappoint.

All the fun started at 11 a.m. Saturday as the festival kicked off with all kinds of local vendors and food.

That went until 6:30 p.m., but just before that, at 6 p.m. was a vibrant parade making it the perfect day out for the family.

The fun didn’t stop there as the adults came out when the sun went down for the block party hosted by Coastal Daiquiri Company and the night capped off with a fireworks show.

The City of Long Beach truly went all out for this event.
