The Shed’s saucery helps fight Jackson water shortage
With the water shortage in Jackson, the Shed’s saucery decided to do what they can to help those in need.
The team with the Shed used the company’s very own bottle machine to fill 8,000 bottles. This machine is fed bottles which are then filled, capped, tightened, and then stored by the team.
In the morning, a truck will deliver the 8,000 bottles of water to those in need in Jackson.
The Shed Co-Founder Brad Orrison says he will continue to fill these bottles past the 8,000 in the first delivery until they are no longer needed. “If you have ever not had water in your house, it’s a big deal; and Jackson is experiencing a crisis and the people of Jackson are important to me as a business man and this is what we can do to help at the moment.”
The team is also taking water bottle and wet wipe donations, which you can drop off at the Shed in Ocean Springs.
They will deliver all of those donations as well.
