The Shed BBQ to appear on Food Network Monday night

If you have not tried The Shed’s food, maybe Barbeque USA Chef Michael Symon can convince you to try it on his new show coming to Food Network.

The Shed BBQ and Blues Joint has competed for over 15 years at ‘Memphis in May.’ Although they didn’t win the first-place trophy this year, their food still ranked as some of the best and they had the privilege to be a part of ‘Food Network’s Barbeque USA.’

The Shed’s team is led by Brad Orrison and his sister Brooke Lewis, the past winners of the Memphis in May grand championship in 2015 and 2018.

Supportive fans make the competition worthwhile and now being featured on a TV show gives the team more motivation for next year’s competition. The Shed Kitchen Manager and Pit Master Scott Zink said, “It’s great to have someone like Michael Symon come by the booth and makes what you’re doing legitimate, makes you feel at least like you’re doing it the right way. Between the food, the smoker, and the aura we bring with us, I think that’s kinda naturally what pulled him to us and we got a couple of championships under our belt, so that doesn’t hurt either.”

The show airs tonight at 8 on Food Network.
