The Pascagoula Panthers and St. Martin lady Yellow Jackets come up short in MHSAA semi-state finals

The Pascagoula Panthers put their 29 game winning streak on the line Wednesday night against Ridgeland in MHSAA semi-state finals.

It was a back-and-forth game that was tied at 40 with just over one minute to go in the game. The Panthers winning streak and season would eventually come to an end as Ridgeland pulled away late winning 48-42.

The St. Martin lady Yellow Jackets took the court on Thursday morning for their semi-state matchup against Germantown. The underdog Yellow Jackets fought from behind the entire game and would make it a two possession game with just over three minutes to play. Unfortunately, St. Martin would fall to Germantown and bring Coast basketball to a close , losing 50-43.
