The 1-8 New Orleans Saints travlled to the 5-4 Carolina Panthers for their Week 11 matchup.
The Panthers scored early out of the gate, but that’d be the only time they’d cross the endzone. Blake Grupe hit a 21 yard field goal, followed by two receiving touchdowns from Tyler Shough. The first touchdown was thrown 62 yards to Chris Olave and the second one was 30 yards to Juwan Johnson. On the defensive side, Cameron Jordan had a quarterback sack, Pete Werner received a fumble and Alontae Taylor secured an interception.
The New Orleans Saints would win their second game of the year and first game under rookie quarterback Tyler Shough with a final score of 17-7.The black and gold will be off for Week 12, preparing for their division rival of the Atlanta Falcons. That game will have a 3:25 kickoff.
