The MolinaCares Accord launches COVID-19 vaccine campaign featuring Jerry Rice

The MolinaCares Accord (“MolinaCares”), in collaboration with Molina Healthcare of Mississippi, teamed up with football Hall of Famer and three-time Super Bowl champion Jerry Rice, a Crawford native, to launch a television and digital advertising campaign to help encourage Mississippians to get vaccinated.

“It’s because of family that I got the COVID-19 vaccine,” Rice stated. “This is a safe and effective vaccine, and as the Delta variant spreads, now is the time to tackle this virus, stick to the game plan, and get vaccinated.”

“Molina is committed to working with our community partners to ensure all Mississippians have access to the COVID-19 vaccine,” said Bridget Galatas, plan president of Molina Healthcare of Mississippi. “We are thrilled to partner with Jerry Rice to help encourage residents of the Magnolia State to get vaccinated and stay healthy.”

MolinaCares has also partnered with Mississippi universities, faith-based organizations, and providers to host drive-thru immunization events, increasing access to the COVID-19 vaccine among underserved populations within Mississippi.
