The Knights of Columbus hold Spring Blood Drive

The Knights of Columbus at Our Lady of Fatima in Biloxi hosted a Spring Red Cross Blood Drive.

Blood is always needed to save lives and volunteers rolled up their sleeves to help the cause. Every two seconds someone in the U.S. needs blood.

It’s essential for surgeries, cancer treatment, chronic illnesses, and traumatic injuries, whether a patient receives whole blood, red cells, platelets, or plasma. Organizer Jack Fields said, “It is something we are able to give with a possibility of saving lives. We need so many donations because the supply is really low.”
