The Gulf Coast Center for Nonviolence to open new clinic

GULFPORT, Miss. (WXXV)- The Gulf Coast Center for Nonviolence announces the opening of the Waypoint Forensic Clinic.

The clinic is a groundbreaking new facility offering trauma-informed, no-cost medical forensic services for survivors of sexual assault, and domestic violence.

The clinic opens October 1 and will provide critical services including medical forensic exams, evidence collection, and survivor-centered care all at no cost to the patient.

The clinic will be staffed by sexual assault nurse examiners trained to deliver compassionate, evidence-based medical care in a safe and supportive environment.
