The City Hosting Civil Rights Program
The City of Biloxi is remembering the men, women and children who stood up for civil rights on Biloxi beach in the mid-1900s.
The May preservation series continues tonight. Paying a tribute to those who fought to desegregate the beach back in the 1950’s and 60’s.
The city of Biloxi is hosting a program focusing on the historical beach wade ins at the Frank Gruich Senior Community Center at 5 pm.
City Leaders tell News 25 it’s important for people on the coast to remember how far we’ve come.
