The Biloxi Shuckers announce “Biloxi Beach Chickens” as alternate temporary identity

The Biloxi Shuckers hosted a tropic beach bash at their ballpark on Friday, but there was also a special announcement made towards the end of the event.

Fans who came to the event were able to enjoy food and drinks at the ballpark and also get their first look at the recently completed tiki bar, boardwalk, and Schooner’s splash zone presented by Gulf Breeze Landscaping that was announced earlier this year.

The Milwaukee Brewers AA affiliate also announced their second alternate identity for the 2024 season.

For four games in the upcoming season, the Biloxi Shuckers will be known as the Biloxi Beach Chickens. New jerseys and a logo will come with the alternate identity that will debut on May 25th.

Media relations manager Javik Blake spoke on why the organization jumped on this opportunity by saying, “It’s really awesome for our fans, it’s awesome for our players, it’s awesome for our marketing team because they get to have fun with it as well. It’s just so much fun for everybody that is involved.”

The Beach Chickens will debut on May 25th and return on June 25th, August 3rd, and one final time on August 17th.
