Texas Roadhouse creates 215 jobs in Gulfport

Over 215 jobs are now filled in Gulfport and a new restaurant is open for business today.
Just off of Highway 49 in Gulfport, Texas Roadhouse opened up their second location in the state. Their doors officially opened at 4 this afternoon, but prior to the grand opening the restaurant wanted to give back to the community.
They invited first responders to be the first to get a taste of what the restaurant has to offer. Managing partner Danny Barck said, “During the training, one of the only ways we can wind up getting training going live is for the cooks to actually be cooking food. So, in the process of doing that, we donated the food as it was being prepared to our first responders. Had a couple of fire departments coming in from across town picking up the entrees after they had been prepared for the training.”
Texas Roadhouse also used their pre-opening to give back to Wounded Warriors and Make-A-Wish of South Mississippi.
