Texas man arrested in Biloxi for kidnapping
BILOXI, Miss. (WXXV)- A Texas man has been arrested by Biloxi police on kidnapping charges after a traffic stop on I-10 Thursday.
Police say 20-year-old Tyler Ankenbruk was the passenger of a car driven by a juvenile girl, when it was stopped near mile marker 44.
The two told officers they were traveling from Florida to Houston. The initial investigation revealed that the girl’s mother apparently told Ankenbruck not to take her daughter out of state.
The girl has been reunited with her mother and Ankenbruck is being held on a $250,000 at the Harrison County Jail.
