Texans RB Mark Ingram reported to be traded to New Orleans Saints
Big news for the Saints ahead of their week seven match up with the Buccaneers, running back Mark Ingram will reportedly be returning to the city in which he started his NFL career: New Orleans.
Per the NFL Network, the Texans are trading Ingram to the Saints, where the 11-year veteran will be reunited with former teammate and fellow running back Alvin Kamara.
Ingram was drafted in the first round by the Saints in 2011.
The Heisman Trophy winner proceeded to spend eight years with New Orleans during which he made 55 trips to the endzone in the black and gold and recorded two seasons with over 1,000 rushing yards.
The 31-year-old will be adding much needed depth to the Saints roster at the running back position after releasing Latavius Murray in September and losing Tony Jones Jr. to injury in week four.
