It’s Only a Test: Training Exercise at Seabee Base Tuesday

If you are near the Seabee Base in Gulfport Tuesday morning and see police cruisers and hear gunfire, have no fear. It’s only a test.

The Seabee Base in Gulfport is the site of an active shooter exercise scheduled to take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 21.

The Gulfport Police Department and SWAT team will be taking part in this training exercise. Seabee Base leaders just want to get the word out to those who work, live and drive through the area, so they won’t be taken off guard or concerned as this training exercise takes place Tuesday.
