Temporary Power Outage to Impact Pascagoula Public Library, Jackson County Law Library, and PG Satellite Office
Pascagoula, MS – The Jackson-George Regional Library System announces a temporary closure of the Pascagoula Public Library, the Jackson County Law Library, and the PG Satellite Office due to a scheduled power outage for facility upgrades.
The Pascagoula Public Library, Jackson County Law Library, and PG Satellite Office will be closed from on Friday, February 7, 2025, through Friday, February 14, 2025, due to a scheduled power outage required for ongoing construction and electrical upgrades.
During this period, these locations will be inaccessible to both staff and the public. Patrons needing library services are encouraged to visit any of our other branches. Attorneys who rely on the Jackson County Law Library will have access to law library computers at the Moss Point and Gautier Branches during normal business hours.
Patron Services During Closure
Holds & Pickups – Patrons with existing holds at Pascagoula must pick them up by close of business on Thursday, February 6, 2025. Holds that remain unclaimed will be available when the branch reopens. There will be no transfers or delivery shipments for these items
