Temporary COVID-19 screening and testing sites in Gulfport and Biloxi

GULFPORT, Miss.—Due to the increase in COVID-19 cases, Memorial’s goal is to ensure they bring services to those areas that are experiencing a significant influx of COVID-19 positives, and to help remove obstacles; such as transportation, that may be preventing individuals that are exhibiting symptoms from being tested.

In addition to continuing to operate the five clinics designated to COVID-19 testing only, Memorial will begin offering temporary drive-up COVID-19 screening and testing sites via Memorial Physician Clinics’ mobile unit for the next three weeks beginning with:

  • Tuesday, July 21, 8 a.m. – 1 p.m., Isiah Fredericks Community Center, 3312 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Gulfport
  • Thursday, July 23, 8 a.m. – 1 p.m., Biloxi Civic Center, 578 Howard Ave., Biloxi
  • Tuesday, July 28, 8 a.m. – 1 p.m., Lyman Community Center, 13472 US 49, Gulfport
  • Thursday, July 30, 8 a.m. – 1 p.m., Woolmarket Civic Center, 16320 Old Woolmarket Road, Biloxi

Individuals are urged to visit the drive-up site if they have been experiencing flu-like symptoms, body aches, fever, coughing, sneezing, chills, or shortness of breath. Sick individuals are asked to stay in their vehicles and wait for assistance. Social distancing will be observed.

Only individuals that meet medical criteria during the screening process will be tested for COVID-19. For patients that have insurance, Memorial will seek reimbursement, however, no out-of-pocket expense or co-pay is expected at the time of service. Testing is free for those that do not have insurance but meet medical criteria. For inquiries or other clinic locations, contact the COVID-19 Hotline, (228) 867-
