Temple Baptist Church hosts family picnic in Gulfport

A local church in Gulfport is starting the spring season with some family fun.

Temple Baptist Church held its spring family picnic yesterday afternoon. Kids of all ages received a gift for attending the outing and there were plenty of games, food, and music for everyone.

Event organizers say it is a way for families to spend quality time together. Associate Pastor Dave Williams says it is one of the many signs of growth for Temple Baptist. “We went out for a couple of days and put out flyers to invite the community. So, we want the community to know that we’re here on the corner and our arms are open. We’d like to share the gospel with everybody we can here in Gulfport and throughout the Coast.”

The winners of the picnic’s cornhole tournament went home with a trophy. Temple Baptist Church wants to remind our viewers that their church is open to everyone.
