Teen’s Tahoe gets some love from Make-A-Wish, Coast businesses

Few things mean more to a 17-year-old than a sweet ride.

Thanks to Make-A-Wish Mississippi and some Coast businesses, 17-year-old Austin Conner’s ride got a little sweeter on Tuesday.

Austin, who has been battling leukemia since he was 14, was taken to Steed’s Collision Center in Biloxi to see his 2002 Chevy Tahoe souped up and customized.

Steed’s, along with 12 other Gulf Coast businesses, teamed up to fully restore and customize Austin’s ride.

Austin was driven to Steed’s in the 2022 Cruisin’ The Coast/Make-A-Wish raffle car. Then he was shown his own vehicle.

The teen’s wish was funded through the donations of Steeds Collision Center, The Coating Store, Meineke Car Care, All Jacked Up, Performance Tire & Wheel, E & M Towing, Southern Stitch, Southern Pro Truck, JW Puckett, Dunaway Glass, DND Towing, Sound Solutions and Topper World.
