Tatonut expands hours to include Sunday

There’s some exciting news out of one iconic business in the City of Discovery.

Tatonut announced they are opening on Sundays.

Customers lined up starting at 5 Friday morning ahead of the big day.

The owner, Theresa Mohler, says the best part of the store is making relationships with the community.

Theresa also explains how the decision to open on Sundays came to be.

“It’s been a long time coming, 20 years ago or so we were open on Sundays. Six days a week. We had some families issues that forced us to close on Sundays,” said Theresa. “One of the other reasons we’ve been able to feel comfortable to open on Sundays is because I have my daughter Katelyn working with me every day. We feel comfortable we can handle Sundays again, so we are super excited about it.”

A cool fact, the current co-owner is Katelyn Mohler, being the third generation to work in the shop.
